Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Signals Lead to join our team, who will provide strategic leadership, integrate advanced ITS technologies, engage with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee quality control processes for high-impact transportation safety projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Team Leadership: Oversee a team of engineers and technicians responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining traffic signal systems.

• Project Coordination: Manage projects involving traffic signal design, installation, and optimization to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

• Signal Timing Optimization: Develop and implement signal timing plans to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance safety.

• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and review designs for signal systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and project specifications.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with local agencies and municipalities to ensure signal projects align with community needs and regulations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in traffic signal systems, including leadership roles.

• ​Extensive knowledge of traffic signal systems, timing, and optimization strategies.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

• Proficiency with traffic signal software, such as SYNCHRO or MaxView.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing engineering teams.
