Senior Project Controls Lead

About the Role:

Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Controls Lead to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of project controls principles, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including work breakdown structures, activity sequencing, and resource allocation.

    • Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule risks and delays.

    • Implement effective change management processes to accommodate project changes.

  • Cost Control:

    • Establish cost control systems and procedures to track project expenditures.

    • Monitor cost performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

    • Prepare accurate cost forecasts and reports.

  • Earned Value Management (EVM):

    • Implement and manage EVM to measure project performance and identify potential issues.

    • Generate regular EVM reports and forecasts.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

    • Develop contingency plans to address potential risks.

    • Monitor and report on risk exposures.

  • Document Control:

    • Establish and maintain a robust document control system to ensure efficient document management and control.

    • Implement document review and approval processes.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals.

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

    • Provide guidance and support to project teams on project controls best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Proven track record in implementing and managing project controls systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMI and PRINCE2.

  • Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6) and cost management tools.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
