Job Description:
We are excited to be a part of delivering exceptional projects that enrich communities and stand as iconic landmarks. Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager – Interior Design to join our team in supporting our client in the delivery of a state-of-the-art opera house.
The Senior Manager-Interior Design is responsible for the review and approval of the design shop drawings and the implementation of interior design concepts for the new Opera House in Jeddah. This role collaborates closely with the architectural and engineering teams to ensure interior spaces align with the overall design vision and project requirements. Responsibilities include developing interior design concepts, reviewing and approving finishes, materials and details, furnishings, and fixtures, and supports the Contractor’s designer to submit detailed interior design drawings and specifications which abide with the Designer’s intend. The Senior Manager-Interior Design also coordinates with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to procure materials and furnishings, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project budgets. The Senior Manager oversees the implementation of interior design plans during the construction phase, ensuring that interior spaces are executed according to design intent and client expectations. Additionally, the Senior Manager-Interior Design conducts site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any design-related issues that may arise.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in large-scale architectural projects or cultural venues.
- Proven track record of successfully managing interior design projects from concept development to completion.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar programs.
- Ability to conceptualize creative and innovative design solutions that align with the project's vision and objectives.
- Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects, highlighting the applicant's design process, creativity, and attention to detail.
