Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Document Controller to join our team!
In this role, you will join a professional Project Management team that participates in multiple projects on a program being developed by Diriyah Company.
Anchored to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At Turaif, it is intended to become a world-class cultural heritage destination for the people of the kingdom and for visitors looking to discover the essence of Saudi Arabia. Phase 1 consists of a 7.5km master plan separated into five districts, each with a blend of asset classes all of which are being designed in the Najdi architectural style and are well underway so you will be joining the program at an exciting and challenging time.
What You'll Be Doing:
Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs to register documents, create workflows, maintain databases, and produce logs, transmittals, and other reports as required.
Enters data and produces reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications. Initiates and replies to routine correspondence related to area of responsibility.
Performing quality control checks to ensure that digital files are Complete, Legible, Oriented correctly, named consistently with the file naming convention, and archived consistently with the file directory structure convention.
Developing and/or revising document control procedures as required by the Program.
Ensuring that activities in the document control processing adhere to document control procedures.
Monitoring the use of the automated workflows and ensuring they are consistently operational and performing as designed.
Supervising the accuracy of data entered by the document control staff in the applied document control system.
Issuing and distributing reports on the status of documents to ensure all outstanding issues have been addressed.
Supervising the proper organization and maintenance of the Project Documents.
Ensuring that all requests for documents are addressed in an efficient and expedited manner.
Preparing document control reports or any type of document required by any Program department.
Ensuring document distribution, both in hard copy and electronic copy, is conducted efficiently to meet the needs of the Program.
Regularly consult with project teams to establish and coordinate work to ensure requirements are efficiently met.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and the Information Technology (IT) department to support the project closeout process and assist with document onboarding from the Project Management Software System (PMSS) to the final repository.
Performing additional assignments as directed.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Exceptional information management/document control skills
Proficient with EDMS (Aconex, SharePoint)
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and consultants.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Assignments will require a working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (Aconex).
Good written and oral communication skills.
Organizational and people skills.
