JOB PROFILE:  

Risk and Ethics Specialist. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Parsons is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Risk and Ethics Specialist to join our team, to provide support both risk and ethics functions.

This is a highly unique and multifaceted role where the successful candidate will be responsible for investigating ethics complaints, conducting risk assessments for tenders, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role requires a high level of integrity, analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

2.Investigate Ethics Submissions:

    • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into ethics complaints.
    • Gather and analyze evidence, interview relevant parties, and document findings.
    • Prepare detailed investigation reports and recommend appropriate actions.

    2.Conduct Risk Assessments:

    • Perform risk assessments for tenders and other business activities.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive risk evaluation.

    3.Compliance and Policy Adherence:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies.
    • Provide training and guidance to employees on ethical standards and related compliance requirements.

    4.Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all investigations and risk assessments.

    5.Continuous Improvement:

    • Support and openly share all knowledge acquired during risk assessments to improve the teams experience, identification and mitigation of material risks.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to the risk and ethics management processes.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

    EDUCATION & SPECIFIC ROLE REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
    • Additional qualifications in Business Administration, Law, Ethics, Risk Management, or a related field desirable.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management, ethics, or a related area
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and risk management software.
    • Certification in risk management or ethics (e.g., CRMA, CCEP) is a plus

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: 

    • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • GCC experience desirable
    • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.  
    • Strong written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.   
    • Good business judgment. 
    • Solid understanding of the challenges of working in a multicultural environment
    • Regional travel is expected
