Resident Engineer (Infra & Community Development)
Dubai, UAE
Parsons is looking for a talented Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Construction Supervision of Infrastructure and Community development Project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management and closeout for the assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identifies and documents changes in scope.
Coordinate with Authorities and Agencies for approvals and handing over of Project/services
Interfaces with Contractor and subcontracts to facilitate compliance to the Contract and deliverables.
-Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable
Reviews and approves change orders. Notifies project management and other affected personnel of all changes.
Mange the Client's expectation and update the progress periodically
Liaise with Authorities to ensure smooth execution and handing over of the Project
Ensure that Parsons rights and obligations are fulfilled
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Minimum 15+ years of overall work experience in construction supervision of infrastructure (including roads and utilities) and community development projects within UAE.
Recent and substantial work experience of community development projects is a must, preferably Dubai.
Knowledge of NOC Procedures, Commissioning and various Government Authority specification & procedures in the emirate of Dubai is required.
Good communication skills both written and spoken.
Good technical knowledge and well versed with the standards and codes.
Good computer skills and software proficiency in related field.
Knowledge in construction health, safety and environment
