Project Director - Urban Development

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director - Urban Development to join our team! In this role you will get to represent Parsons as the Portfolio lead for a key client or series of clients and be responsible to ensure that we deliver all projects within their portfolio to the satisfaction of the client and within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing the relationship with a key Client or series of Clients through the successful deliver of active projects

• Manage the project managers for the individual projects within the portfolio to ensure delivery on time and to budget

• Lead, negotiate and secure new projects with the client

• Represent Parsons as the responsible party in front of clients and authorities

• Mentor and develop the assigned project managers and project engineers

• Ensure the overall technical delivery and financial performance of projects within the portfolio

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution

• Minimum 20 years of experience in the delivery of private sector urban development projects at a principal project manager / director level

• Capability to communicate with Client and Authorities and represent Parsons at executive level

• Strong project and financial management experience and understanding

• Ability to lead and develop assigned staff into future leaders

• Strong design experience in Urban Development planning and/or infrastructure design
