Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Operations Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide operational oversight and technical support to the program management office and to act as Deputy Program Manager.
Reports to the Program Manager and is a Functional manager to various positions not linked to Senior Management staff reporting to Program Manager.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide support to the Program Manager working to support organizational structure various Royal Commission Departments and initiatives.
Support the Program manager in providing leadership to technical teams and development of integrated team structure.
Develop plans to increase program efficiency and improve policies and procedures.
Assist the Program Manager to meet goals and deadlines.
Work with various departments to promote efficient optimization.
Develop or optimize various Job Descriptions and conduct initial interviews to be presented to Client.
Analyze process workflows, implement changes.
Assist non-technical Departments (such as HR, or Finance) as necessary such as training plan, Manpower Plan, and recruiting.
Provide technical analysis and review of packages for the Program Manager.
Coordinate with Parsons Finance on procurement of subcontractors/suppliers, or Parsons external resources.
Work with Parsons back-office support staff to ensure consistency in job offers, position titles, salaries, housing assignments, etc.
Coordinate external In-Kingdom and Out-of-Kingdom work to ensure budget and schedule compliance.
Lead the quality control committee and safety committee.
Assist with the dissemination/incorporation of Parsons culture with staff.
Deputize for the Program Manager during his absence.
Assist with budget preparation and financial program management.
Assist with updating of policies and assuring constant application of those processes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or other related obtained from a recognised western university.
Minimum of 15 years post graduate professional experience.
Minimum 10 years in a managerial/supervisory position.
Must have a strong understanding and leadership experience in lifecycle project management, portfolio management, PMO’s, stage gate process, projectization, etc.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status with ICE(UK) is a plus.
Must be able to obtain KSA Driver's License.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, including strong presentation skills.
Knowledge of computers and basic software applications: MS Office is required (Word, Excel, Power Point).
