Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Monitoring and Reporting Section Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the monitoring and reporting activities for construction projects managed by the Project Management Consultancy (PMC). This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of construction project management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders. The Monitoring and Reporting Section Manager will collaborate closely with the project team, client, and external stakeholders to establish monitoring frameworks, track project performance, and provide valuable insights to optimize project outcomes and mitigate risks.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and implement monitoring and reporting frameworks tailored to the specific requirements of the construction project managed by the PMC, ensuring alignment with project objectives, client expectations, and contractual agreements.
Collaborate with delivery directors, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks for monitoring project progress, schedule adherence, budget performance, quality assurance, and risk management.
Design and maintain databases, dashboards, and other tracking tools to capture and organize project data, including schedules, budgets, procurement activities, resource allocations, and stakeholder communications.
Conduct regular assessments of project data to identify trends, deviations, and potential risks, and communicate findings to the project team, client, and senior management through comprehensive reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
Monitor compliance with project requirements, contractual agreements, and regulatory standards, and ensure that all monitoring and reporting activities adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
Implement proactive measures to address issues identified through monitoring and reporting activities, working collaboratively with the project team to develop and implement corrective actions, mitigation strategies, and performance improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to the project team on data collection methodologies, reporting tools, and best practices for monitoring and reporting, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments related to construction project management, monitoring, and reporting, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in project meetings, workshops, and client presentations as required, and contribute to the overall success of construction projects managed by the PMC through active engagement and collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
Represent the PMC in discussions with the client, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders regarding project monitoring and reporting requirements, performance metrics, and data analytics.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field from an accredited top tier international university.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in project management, construction monitoring, reporting, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in delivering complex construction projects as part of a PMC or similar organization.
Expertise must have been gained from working for Western Internationally reputed firms.
Experience of working internationally. KSA or Middle East experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle phases, processes, and workflows.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6 preferred.
Experience in Dashboard Reporting, Monthly Report preparation, validation of input data and consolidation of reports from multiple projects.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data, identify trends and patterns, and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
