Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer Civil to join our dynamic team for a large-Scale Aquatic Facility Construction project. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all civil engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance client specifications and regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions within specified timelines.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate closely with the client to understand project objectives, timelines, and constraints, ensuring alignment with their vision and requirements.
  • Reviewing Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, As Built Drawings and RFI’s submitted by Contractor and comment accordingly.
  • Coordinate with project team and other disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Arch., Planning, etc..) regarding project requirements, site progress and work priorities.
  • Ability to review and assess any technical claims by General Contractor.
  • Perform regular inspections on completed work to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards related to civil engineering activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and consulting firms, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to communicate design concepts, progress updates, and technical recommendations effectively.
  • Ensures that the services of subcontractors and major construction equipment required by the project will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
  • Experience in the construction of aquatic facilities or similar projects is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery on large-scale projects and a minimum of 12yrs+ experience on landmark and Entertainment projects, preferably in GCC (KSA experience ideally)
  • Experience in industry-standard engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Revit).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation and experience in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
