Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Inspector-CAD Operator to join our team! In this role you will get to join our construction supervision team related to Landscape and infrastructure work .
What You'll Be Doing:
Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.
Becomes familiar with various standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
Understands how to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
Experience in general arrangement of road layout, cross sections, setting out details, rough grading and final grading plans, traffic signs and road markings ,and temporary traffic management drawings
Organizes and schedule drawing completions independently.
Design, develop, and prepare drawings in line with the CAD standards and procedures and also interacts on projects in coordination with the client and other stakeholders'
Infrastructure preparing Road Cross-sections, underground utility drawings like a storm, wastewater, potable water, irrigation, electrical/Telecom duct bank networks as well as tie-in connections.
Preparing detailed technical drawings as per project requirements with complying with all standards.
Collaboration and ork closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure drawings align with project requirements and standards
Review and revise drawings as needed, incorporating feedback and making adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations
Perform quality control checks to verify that drawings are error-free and meet industry standards and project specifications
Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents for future reference and documentation
IFC Drawings(Issued for Construction Drawings) provide detailed and comprehensive information about the project, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and landsacping details
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum eight years demonstrable experience in the drafting experience on infrastructure and landscaping projects.
Must have experience on the use of computer aided drafting software, such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD etc. Revit Structural experience is a plus.
Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills;
Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.
Registered as a practicing Engineer in Abu Dhabi or having an equivalency certificate issued by Ministry of Education.
