Job Description:

Based on the West Coast of KSA and as part of our Program at Yanbu, Parsons is looking to hire a dedicated and focused Housing & Logistics Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to coordinate and perform necessary functions to ensure effective Parsons local housing and logistic operations, by maintaining the highest standards of quality thorough planning, coordination, inspections, maintenance and reporting, while maintaining exceptional relations to Parsons and Royal Commission staff, and other stakeholders.

May report to and take direction from senior Housing and Logistics Coordinator or Business Manager. Frequently interfaces with Parsons staff and departments including Finance, Operations, Human Resources, as well as various Royal Commission of Yanbu (RCY) departments and personnel to ensure quality housing and logistics standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establish and maintain database and documentation system for housing units to ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of all Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.

  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of housing to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate allocation of housing to improve and implement necessary corrective actions.

  • Participate in inventories of housing units, furniture, safety equipment, and appliance conditions.

  • Coordinate with RCY O&M Maintenance Dept. on Parsons housing maintenance requirements.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on Parsons’s housing maintenance and safety requirements.

  • Coordinate with the RCY Property Dept. in arranging appropriate furniture and appliances.

  • Coordinate list of houses requiring renovation and officially notify the RCY Property Dept..

  • Coordinate with RCY Stock Control Dept. to provide RC tag numbers on fixed assets.

  • Serve as primary liaison between Parsons and RCY Property & Buildings Depts.

  • Forecast Housing requirements by developing housing forecast/strategy monthly, quarterly, and yearly to ensure that the RCY Property Dept. and Parsons provide appropriate housing to accommodate manpower needs. 

  • Notify RCY Properties Dept. of moves, mobilizations, and demobilizations via assignment and clearance forms.

  • Prepare Purchase Orders for appliances and furniture.

  • Procure and coordinate “soft packs” deliveries to new staff, ensure accurate record keeping and coordination with Finance for all procurements and petty cash reimbursement.

  • Perform any other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate or directed.​

Any Applicants must possess the following credentials / qualifications / experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.

  • Excellent computer skills, MS office Suite (Word Excel, etc.), MS Access or any other relational database is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines are a must.

  • Dependability to work alone and as part of a team is a must.

  • Excellent demeanor, patience, and ability to create productive professional relationships is an absolute.
