Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Director, Strategic HR Solutions to join our team!

In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of HR projects and systems, playing a crucial part in shaping our organization's future. We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic professional with a strong background in project management, HR systems, and requirements analysis & design. If you possess exceptional project leadership skills and a proven track record of execution, we want to hear from you!

Our Chantilly, VA office is the ideal location for the position, but for the right candidate, hybrid and remote work options are available.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage complex HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide thought leadership in the optimization of HR systems, including Workday.
  • Conduct thorough requirements analysis and design for effective HR solutions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of projects, maintaining a focus on delivering results that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution of HR initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders throughout the enterprise to understand their needs and provide tailored HR solutions that support business objectives.
  • Lead and support HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including facilitating the integration of acquired companies into the existing culture, ensuring alignment with organizational values and practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance and act as a trusted advisor to HR and senior business leaders, offering insights and recommendations on HR strategies and initiatives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience leading HR systems or HR projects, with a proven track record in project management and HR systems and solutions implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Strong focus on quality and execution, with a commitment to delivering results that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Apply deep understanding of core business functions and their interdependencies, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable HR solutions.
  • Demonstrate an ability to utilize critical thinking and apply an analysis of alternatives approach to evaluate and implement HR solutions.
  • Possess expertise in optimizing HR systems, including Workday.
  • Demonstrate an ability to partner with business leaders to drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, effectively manage stakeholder expectations, and drive change.
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and concepts in a clear, compelling way to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build consensus among diverse groups.
  • Foster a "get it done" attitude, driving projects to successful completion with a focus on achieving tangible results.
  • Be self-directed and motivated, taking initiative to identify and address challenges proactively.

Salary Range: 

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
