We are supporting a US Space Force contract to provide various tools and application in support of the space domain awareness mission. Our team is looking for software developers with a desire to work with developing, supporting and deploying state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI) solutions to support several different use cases solving some of the most pressing needs of the Space warfighters. Recognized as a leader of ML/AI applications within the DoD, our work includes automated pattern of life learning, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis. Flexibility to work across all areas of software development using a variety of technology stacks is essential. Physical location for this work will primarily be at Parsons office in Colorado Springs, Colorado, an upon obtaining a security clearance, will include the need for periodic on-site integration work and software support at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado
Required Skills
This position requires the selected candidate to be able and willing to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical discipline with 5+ years of industry experience. Relevant experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
Experience in Java application development
Strong software development skills
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment; willing take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
Excellent communication skills, in both spoken and written English
Desired Skills
Experience with Java, Scala, and/or Python languages
Experience with Javascript and associated frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, VueJS, etc.)
Familiarity with various machine learning data science tools (e.g. Jupyter, Apache Spark, Google TensorFlow)
Familiarity with Linux OS
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker a plus
Knowledge of Space operations and/or Space Domain Awareness a plus
This position pays a minimum annual salary of $79,100.00 and a maximum annual salary of $138,400.00.
