Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Manager to join our team! A Senior Contract Administrator plays a critical role in managing and administering contracts within an organization. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, mitigating risks, and facilitating effective contract management processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Contract Management: Oversee the end-to-end contract management process, including contract drafting, negotiation, execution, and administration. Ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions and monitor contract performance throughout its lifecycle.
Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, such as non-compliance, financial penalties, or legal disputes. Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement necessary actions.
Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate contract terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, service level agreements, and contract amendments. Ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization while maintaining positive relationships with vendors or clients.
Contract Administration: Act as the main point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues. Maintain accurate contract documentation, including contract records, amendments, and correspondence. Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Facilitate contract review and approval processes.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors or suppliers. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to evaluate vendor performance, resolve disputes, and address issues. Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and provide feedback or recommendations for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and coordination in contract management processes. Communicate contract requirements, changes, and updates effectively to all relevant parties.
Contract Analysis and Reporting: Analyze contract data, identify trends, and generate reports or metrics related to contract performance, compliance, and key performance indicators. Provide insights and recommendations to management for process improvements and contract-related decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and regulatory changes related to contract management. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, or streamlining contract administration workflows. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to junior contract administrators or other staff members involved in contract management processes. Share knowledge and expertise in contract administration, co
